It
gives myself and my Family great
pleasure in welcoming you to our
Veterinary Surgery
and Court Cattery here in this Village of
Stanford-in-the-Vale.
Qualified in April 1977 at the Royal
Veterinary College, London and
Potters Bar, I believe that I have
gained a lot of experience from a
very diverse variety of posts held.
We started to work from the current
premises on 6th January 1996 and
doubled the size of the Practice
facilities one year later. My Wife
joined me as an Official Partner in
November 2000. Court Cattery has
been a very exciting project and a
special service to the cats of our
local and wider communities; there
are so many amazing characters just
waiting for us to get to know: a
great privilege, thank you!
On frequent
occasions, external sources of
expertise and equipment are needed.
Called referral services, these are
the sites of specialist,
specifically extra qualified
professionals, ranging from pet
behaviour psychologists to
orthopaedic surgeons to external
laboratory services. We maintain an
excellent relationship with Great
Western Referrals and we are
fortunate to be able to refer other
cases suitable for complimentary
medicine, such as chiropractic (Mrs.
Jess Harkness), laser, chiropractic
and acupuncture (Dr Elisabeth
Seidel) and homoeopathy (Mr. Chris
Day), hydrotherapy (West Challow),
in-house massage and physio to name
a few! Details of Puppy
Socialisation classes (Mrs S.
MacDonald) are available from
Reception, which follow-on from
early learning classes held in-house
at the Practice.
